In total 163 riders have taken the exit and the main protagonist of the day, apart from the winner, has been the weather: the strong wind gusts throughout the morning and the rain that made the end of the stage did fear the suspension of The test, as happened last year.

The riders began pedaling past 10.00 in the morning from the neutralized exit on Avenida Vicente Llorca Alòs, on the Paseo de Poniente. The itinerary continued by Alcalde Pérez Devesa to climb to the area of the roundabouts that surround Terra Mítica, forming a circuit that the runners had to do eight laps to finally return to the city along Avenida del Murtal and again, in Opposite direction, to Vicente Llorca Alòs, where the goal was located.

In total the cyclists have traveled 65 km, many of them with the wind of face and of rise which sensibly increased the times and the arrival at the end of stage that took place when four minutes by the noon were missing.
