The Councilor for Employment, Mª Jesús Pinto; the director of the CEEI of Elche, Joaquín Alcázar; the director of the Valencian Institute of Tourism Technologies, Francisco Juan; and the coordinator of the CRIAMA business area, Javier Ribes; have presented this morning the edition of Focus Pyme 2019 to be held on April 25 in the municipal hall. This year, the Focus Pyme has as a novelty the incorporation of the Marina Alta to the project, which aims to train and connect the entrepreneurs of the two counties.

From the Department of Employment, María Jesús Pinto has thanked all the partners of the Focus Pyme 2019 involved, such as the municipalities of Alfaz del Pi and Calpe, the Business Association of Travel Agencies (AVIBE), the Federation of Associations of Young Entrepreneurs of the Prov. Alicante (JOVEMPA), the Association for the development of women entrepreneurs of the Marina Baixa (MEMBA), Creama, Umivale, UGT and the associations of Marina Baixa and Marina Alta.

Joaquín Alcazar commented that Focus Pyme is "an event aimed at being a framework for reflection on the importance of being innovative". He also wanted to raise awareness of the theme of the act that this year will be on the 'Smart Tourism' initially aimed at people, since innovation is created by people and is aimed at them. A very appropriate initiative for a sector with as much human weight as the tourism sector. Alcazar stresses that "the technological tools applied to tourism prolong a satisfaction in the tourism experience that extends before, during and after visiting us" and highlights that "the event will end with a table dedicated to the impact technology has on the territory in social, cultural and quality aspects "with representatives of the Benidorm City Council and the City Council of Calpe, moderated by the director of the Tourist Agency.

For his part, Francisco Juan, director of the Valencian Institute of Tourism Technology supports this edition "dedicated to technological solutions and especially dedicated to the people who practice and promote innovation in the tourism sector." In the same way, Javier Ribes, coordinator of the area of ​​companies of Criama, underlines that "the objective of these days is to train entrepreneurs and encourage them to know each other to create synergies.
