On Saturday, January 19, a community information desk on HIV / AIDS will be held at the Youth Center of Benidorm City Council from 10 a.m. The event is part of the continuity of the activities already carried out on the occasion of the commemoration of the World Day against HIV-AIDS
The objective, in this case, is to favor the participation and exchange of information and to promote awareness and social display without stigmas of HIV infection, emphasizing the prevention of this and other STDs beyond the commemoration of the World Day.
The event will be coordinated by the Promotion Unit of the Public Health Center of Benidorm, in collaboration with the Youth department of the City Council, the Public Health Center and the Health Department of Marina Baixa.
The information table will have the presence of health professionals trained in carrying out the rapid HIV-AIDS test. This will be done free of charge, anonymous and confidential to all those who request it until there are supplies and will end at 7:00 p.m.
The celebration has the collaboration and participation of different associations such as Amigos de Benidorm Association, ALGTB Association, Ábaco Asociación and Benidorm Pride Festival, which is the organizer of the event.
