Next Monday, September 17, the registration period of the 2018-2019 course for people registered in Benidorm will be opened in the Municipal Sports Schools and Courses that will begin on October 1. This has announced by the Councilor for Sports, Arturo Cabrillo, who has also indicated that the enrollment of non-registered will be from day 24.

These activities show that Benidorm "is a city that promotes educational quality, inclusion, family conciliation and sports initiation through physical activity and sports," said Cabrillo, who also said that there will be a total of 18 schools "in the various municipal sports facilities and schools in the town".

The councillor also revealed that the number of people enrolled in the course completed before the summer, was 1,361, a figure that contrasts with the previous 708. "There are more and more," Cabrillo pointed out, "people who choose to do exercise, get fit and improve their health in the public sports facilities of Benidorm, facilities that meet, in this way, an important social function."

For the course that will start on October 1st, the Department of Sports offers places in its sports schools: athletics, sports for people with functional diversity, football, gymnastics (in the mornings at Palau d'Esports and in the afternoons at El Murtal school and at the Social Center 'José Llorca Linares'), gymnastics on the beach for adults, rhythmic gymnastics, aquagym, corrective and adult swimming, paddle for children and adults, Valencian ball, School of Health and Sports (in the schools Aitana-Vasco Núñez de Balboa, Miguel Hernández and Puig Campana), children's and adult tennis, and, finally, volleyball.
