Benidorm hosts this Sunday, February 18, the sixth stage of the XXXII Volta Ciclista a La Marina, organized by Benidorm Cyclist Union and 65 kilometers. The exit of the race will be at 10.00 from Avenida Vicente Llorca Alós. The riders will pedal in the direction of Terra Mítica, where a circuit of 7.3 kilometers has been drawn, where the participants will take eight laps before returning to the first line of the beach. The arrival to the finish is scheduled for noon.

The councilman of Sports, Arturo Cabrillo, has encouraged neighbors "to follow the development of this 'amateur' cycling event, one of the oldest held in the Valencian Community and of which more interest arise among fans of the sport of cycling ".

Cabrillo stressed that "in sports this end of February is going to be very cyclist", since in addition to the XXXII Volta to La Marina the city will also be the start and finish line of the fourth and decisive stage of the Second Setmana Ciclista Valenciana, a exclusively female competition to be held on Sunday 25 and involving 174 runners of 29 teams from about a dozen European countries.

The councillor indicated that "Benidorm is consolidating as a cycling circuit for its orographic and climatic conditions, capable of attracting not only the celebrations of tests and competitions but also national and international teams that see in the city the best option for their 'stages 'and trainings. On the occasion of the sixth stage of the XXXII Volta Ciclista a La Marina, between 10.00 and 12.00 this Sunday, Alfaz del Pi street and Juan Pablo II, Murtal, Villajoyosa and Vicente Llorca Alós avenues will be closed to traffic.
