Commerce extends to December 9 the registration period for the Christmas Window Dressing Contest
The Department of Commerce, which is directed by Lorenzo Martínez, has extended to December 9 the registration period to participate in the twenty-sixth edition of the Christmas Window Dressing Contest, which once again has been convened in three categories: hotels, restaurants and shops. Martínez recalled that the contest is aimed at "all commercial establishments, bars, restaurants, cafes and companies" of Benidorm, and the window showcase proposal can be made "with totally free criteria" attending "the reason for the call, Christmas" .
Participating establishments must maintain Christmas decoration until Three Kings Day. Enrollment in the Window Dressing Contest can be made at the offices of the Department, in the administrative extensions, by calling 966 815 443, or by email by sending the request to firstname.lastname@example.org. The participating establishments, said the mayor, will have to send a photo of the decoration before December 11 with which “there will be a shortlist of the 30 semifinalists who will receive the visit of the jury” composed of technicians from the Department, students of the Institute and members of AICO, Abreca, Housewives, Anemone and the Neighborhood Council. Lorenzo Martínez has announced that the establishments that go to the final "will be the image of the Christmas campaign in the social networks of the City Council", which have thousands of followers.
The winners of the contest will be announced at a gala that will take place on December 19, at 9:00 p.m. in the Assembly Hall of the City Council, conducted by the students of Second Course of the Cycle of Commerce, Marketing and Advertising Technician of Pere Maria Orts and Bosch Secundary School; students who, in addition, will be responsible for the animation and the protocol of the event.
