The mascletás of Major Patronal Festivities change their location for the works of Mediterráneo Avenuen
The mascletás of the next Major Patron Festivities change their location this year due to the remodeling of Mediterráneo Avenue, which will begin in the coming weeks. The councilman of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles, has indicated that "these works prevent the launch of the 'mascletás' can be made in its traditional location on Mediterráneo Avenue, so we had to study its transfer to another street that meets the conditions that a pyrotechnic spectacle of these characteristics requires ".
Carrobles informed that the chosen location for the firing of the five mascletàs programmed by the Commission of Fiestas has been Jaime I Avenue, concretely in the section between Panama and Nicaragua Avenues.
"It is not a unilateral or definitive decision," the councilor concluded, remarking that "we have simply looked for a viable alternative to guarantee the celebration and development of some acts that arouse great interest among holiday makers, residents and tourists".
