The finalists of Marina Baixa Intercentros Competition protagonists of the third session of 2019 Grand Recitals cycle
Last night the third session of the 'Great Recitals' cycle took place, organized by the Department of Culture, with the collaboration of the Municipal Professional Conservatory of Music 'José Pérez Barceló', which this year celebrates its fourth edition with a first level international program which was attended by the councillor of Education, Maite Moreno, accompanied by the director of 'Great Recitals', Vicente Pérez Pellicer and the director and teachers of the Conservatory 'José Pérez Barceló'.
On this occasion the protagonists were, for the second consecutive year, the students of the Professional Conservatory of Music 'José Pérez Barceló' of Benidorm, finalists of the Intercenter Competition of the Marina Baixa, Israel Rivera Castillo, saxophone, Sabrina Dehia Machani, piano, Pablo Solbes Teuler, trombone, and clarinet Mar Navarro Ivars, Isabel Hurtado Llinares, Carmen Sellés Ferrándiz and Sergi Pérez Villarreal, accompanied by the pianist José María Villegas, a piano teacher at Plasencia Conservatory.
During this third session pieces of 'Divertimento' by Alfred Uhl and 'Sholem' by Bela Kovacs were performed by the clarinet quartet composed of Mar Navarro, Isabel Hurtado, Carmen Sellés and Sergi Pérez. Next Sabrina Denia Machani performed 'Granada', a Spanish piano suite by Isaac Albéniz and 'Morceaux de fantasie' by Sergei Rachmaninoff. Jules Demerssemann's work 'Fantasia' and 'Little Czarda' by Pedro Iturralde were performed by Israel Rivera Castillo saxophonist accompanied by José María Villegas González, pianist. Finally Pablo Solbes Teuler performed with his trombone 'Ballade', by Eugene Bozza.
