Benidorm opens today La Casa del Fester for vaccination against flu and Covid 19

Vacunación

La Casa del Fester in Benidorm has opened its doors today at 3:00 p.m. as a vaccination point against flu and Covid 19. The City Council thus makes the municipal facilities available for vaccination campaing, which is added to the health centers in La Cala and Foietes, in order to avoid, as much as possible, the transmission of both diseases.

The first people arrived at 3:00 p.m. to receive their doses. La Casa del Fester will be open for this vaccination campaign from Monday 12 to Friday 16 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Also in Benidorm, the La Cala health center opened on Friday, December 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and the Foietes health center, for its part, will receive those who wish to be vaccinated on the 13th and 15th of this month from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, and the Councilor for Health, Mónica Gómez, who visited the facility have influenced the objective of this campaign "which is to obtain the greatest number of vaccinations to have the best possible safety parties so that we can enjoy with the family in these very important days”. Pérez encouraged getting vaccinated "especially those over 60 years of age and risk groups both for the flu and against Covid to avoid possible problems in the future" and has specified that the flu inoculation "is a regular campaign every year for the entire population, but especially for the most vulnerable”.

The campaign seeks to inoculate the flu vaccine to people over 65 years of age and risk groups. In the case of the Covid 19 vaccine, the memory dose will be given and those over 60 years of age will have priority, as well as risk groups such as people with respiratory diseases, immunosuppressed, or cancer patients, among others.
