The development of the Roadmap ‘7 weeks for 7 months’ continues with which to achieve Benidorm DTI + safe; next week, professional meetings

The reopening of beaches will attend an innovation and safety initiative that will be presented in the coming days

"

Benidorm City Council is immersed in the 2nd phase of Patti Recovery pilot performing tests on municipal staff with face-to-face services." This is how the municipal spokeswoman Lourdes Caselles responded to the motion presented by the Municipal Citizens Group advocating measures for the promotion of Benidorm as a safe destination before the Covid-19.

Caselles stressed that the City Council "has worked on it from the first moment and the spokesmen for the groups are permanently informed of the initiatives of the municipal government."

On April 15, she recalled, the proyecto Patti Recovery ’pilot project was presented with the aim of“ detecting the real situation of the population with respect to the condition of the virus ”. It is a project supervised by the Department of Health and whose results are transferred to Public Health Service; "The tests began to be carried out on Monday, April 20, once the medical device, the action schedule and the health protocols were organized, with data collection."

The spokesperson insisted that all groups "received information on the project, development and phases from the Board of Spokespersons." In the week that ends, already in the 2nd phase, "municipal officials have been tested."

The Patti Recovery pilot continues its development and both the Ministry of Innovation and Tourism of the Generalitat support this initiative of Benidorm City Council, which tests and monitors the situation. "Based on the mapping of data obtained, security protocols can be developed that guarantee the socioeconomic reactivation of the city-tourist destination," the spokesperson concluded.

Undoubtedly, Caselles has insisted, it is "an initiative that will transmit safety for the new tourism reality."

Regarding the protocol of safe beaches suggested by Ciudadanos, the spokesperson has highlighted that "Benidorm goes further and develops the step to the top level DTI as Benidorm DTI + safe". Caselles said that "the work program‘ 7 weeks for 7 months "is underway, from which they have also received information from the Board of Spokespersons, with exposure of the Road Map by Smart Tourims."

Caselles recalled that with the reactivation of DTI + safe, "we are preparing for the new reality of tourism by implementing safety through innovation and technology."

The plan, which enters the 4th week of work, will now develop webinar work sessions with the parties and local sectors involved, before starting the citizen participation campaign and raising conclusions and proposals, in mid-June. “Benidorm is very clear about the premise of safety in this new reality; neighbors and tourists, "said the spokeswoman.

In the Benidorm DTI + safe, stressed Lourdes Caselles, beach protocols are contemplated, “the jewels of Benidorm tourism crown”, which are undergoing specific treatment for analysis of innovation and technology proposals, the results of which will be presented in short dates.

Benidorm will open its beaches, the spokesperson has concluded in line with the statements made by the mayor Toni Pérez, "as soon as we can guarantee the maximum safety of all people who can access them", for which "technological applications are being developed and precise protocols that will be presented in a few days and first to the municipal spokesmen ”.

In this sense, stressed the spokeswoman Lourdes Caselles, "as always, although some seem not to know."
