Bach, Mozart, Rossini and Marcello sound at the second concert of the ‘Great Recitals’

Baroque music returns to Benidorm with Vicente Llimerá and Ensemble Oboissimo

12 October 2019
La música del Barroco vuelve a Benidorm con Vicente Llimerá y Ensemble Oboissimo

Tonight the second session of ‘Great Recitals' cycle took place, organized by the Department of Culture, with the collaboration of the Municipal Professional Conservatory of Music‘ José Pérez Barceló ’.

The oboist Vicente Llimerá, accompanied by the chamber group Ensemble Oboissimo, have performed a repertoire of baroque pieces by Bach. Mozart and Marcello and Rossini's first Romanticism. The Assembly Hall of the Benidorm City Hall was filled again with an audience dedicated to classical music, including the Councilor for Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez, the councillor Angela Llorca and the director of the "Great Recitals", Vicente Pérez Pellicer.

Vicente Llimerá is Professor of Oboe at the Superior Conservatory of Music 'Joaquín Rodrigo' in Valencia and, among other awards, has been the National Music Prize 2005. On the other hand, Oboissimo highlights the solo violin Vanja Skokovic that combines the performance with the teaching at the Center for Higher Education in Music 'Progreso Musical', in Madrid.

Next Friday, the 18th, the third of the 'Great Recitals' concerts will take place that will bring together the finalists of the Intercenter Contest of the Marina Baixa: Israel Rivera, Sabrina Dehia, Pablo Solbes, Mar Navarro, Isabel Hurtado, Carmen Sellés and Sergi Pérez, accompanied at the piano by José María Villegas.
