The Agency for Employment and Local Development facilitates and subsidizes the implementation of 50 business projects

To expand these actions, Benidorm City Council, is awared of the need to promote the implementation of new economic activities for generating employment and has established its own line of grants to promote businesses in our city, with special emphasis on the creation and consolidation of self-employment.

The initiative has been a success because it has provided assistance for the implementation of more than 50 entrepreneurs with very different profiles. Throughout the year a total of 21,042 euros, have been aimed at entrepreneurs who applied for these grants.

AEDL like to inform entrepreneurs of Benidorm, that there is availability of municipal funds to undertake new applications for assistance for the establishment of businesses in our city and encourages the formalization, since the application period remains open until the end of the year. Those interested can go to the Local Development Agency for collecting applications before December 30, as long as they meet the following requirements:

• Having started self-employment in 2015.

• Being in the census of taxpayers and the Special Scheme for Self-Employed Workers or equivalent prior to the filling of the application.

• Have figured on the Special Regime for Autonomous Workers in the six months preceding the start of the activity.

• Be registered in Benidorm.
