Gema Amor chairs the events commemorating the arrival of Sant Antoni's image to Benidorm
The first deputy mayor, Gema Amor, attended the ceremony, accompanied by the councillor of Fiestas, Cristina Escoda, the councilors Miguel LLorca, Juan Ramón Martínez, Pepe Marcet, members of the popular local group, the senator Agustín Almodóbar, the CEO Tourism in Valencia, Sebastián Fernández, the president of the Commission of Sant Antoni, Jaime Jesús Pérez Linares, the presidents of the Major Patron Fiestas Committee and the Association of Peñas and queens of the festivities.
The procession started at 17.00 starting from Jaime's house to move around various streets in the area and ending in the Ermita de Sanz. This itinerary is celebrated in a special way every 25 years to commemorate the arrival of the saint's image to the city.
After the procession a flower offering took place and the first deputy mayor, Gema Amor, was responsible for closing the act.
