On September 24, Benidorm hosts 'En Primera Línea' a solidarity race to benefit Aspanion
Next Sunday, September 24, the Sociocultural Association of Benidorm Local Police will organize the solidarity race 'On the Front Line', the proceeds of which will go entirely to benefit children with cancer in the Valencian Community through the Aspanion association.
The event, which has the collaboration of the Sports Department of Benidorm City Council and Benidorm Athletics Club, will have numerous activities that will be held at Plaza de SSMM Los Reyes de España from nine in the morning.
The 10k and 5k races will start from the same square, which will take place along the Levante and Poniente promenades, as well as the march for those who prefer to do the route on foot. The program includes children's races, gymkhana, batucada, and many other activities since Aspanion Comunidad Valenciana has chosen Benidorm to focus its events on the occasion of the celebration of International Childhood Cancer Day.
Manuel Villalón, the spokesperson for the Sociocultural Association of Benidorm Local Police, highlighted “the importance for our sociocultural association of organizing events like this, with which we can be in solidarity with associations like Aspanion, which provide important support for families. of children with cancer.”
María José Gutiérrez, spokesperson for Aspanion, explains that our work is “to try to provide comprehensive support to these families, who see many fronts of their lives disrupted to cope with overcoming a child's cancer.” This support is developed at both a psychological, social, and economic level.
