Youth expands up to 36 places for the program 'Summer 2019'
The Youth Council headed by Ana Pellicer has expanded its offer of summer activities for children and young people in 'Summer 2019', an activity that offers students between 10 to 16 years different proposals to enjoy the months of July and August, while providing their parents the possibility of developing their work activities normally. The 24 places last year were covered in full, so this year a total of 36 places are offered.
The program will be developed in three phases that will start on July 1 and end on August 30 at the municipal facilities of the Social Center 'José Llorca Linares', from 9.30 am to 2.30 pm. The first period will start on July 1 and end on the 12th of the same month. The second, from 1 to 14 August and the third from 19 to 30 August. Each period has a price of 25 euros and those interested can enroll in one or more periods of the program.
Ana Pellicer stressed that "among the different activities that will be developed, there will be cultural outings visiting the most emblematic places of our city and our historical heritage, such as the Tower of Les Caletes, the Castell de Benidorm or Tossal de La Cala" . She also underlined other activities such as workshops, games, hiking and sports activities that will take place in Palau d'Esports, Foietes Park and Sequia Mare. "
There will also be cooking workshops, environmental activities, activities for the development of emotional intelligence, German, cineforum, games and role playing. At the beginning of each fortnight, all participants will be given a detailed program of all the activities that will be developed in that period.
Interested persons can request information and register in the Youth Information Center, located at Plaza de SSMM Los Reyes de España. To register, it is necessary to present the application form filled out with personal and health information, as well as a photocopy of the health card and a passport photograph.
