The Department of Youth encourages one more year alternative leisure with its technological event of video consoles and computers, which will be held from October 11 to 13 at Carrer de Pilota of the Palau d'Esports l'Illa in Benidorm, as reported today the councillor of the area, Jaime Jesús Pérez. As in previous editions, admission to this event "is free" and registration is only required for participation in scheduled tournaments.

Pérez has indicated that “we will have three distinct zones: the free zone, the‘ lan ’and the camping area, which will be enabled near Carrer de Pilota. The free zone will feature posts for the PS4, Xbox One X, driving peripherals and virtual reality with “the newest games like Fornite, Brawl Stars, Clash Royale, Fifa 2019 or Tekken”. In addition, you will have Wi-Fi points for mobile devices and tablets; while in the ‘lan’ zone, “150 stations prepared for those users who attend the event with their computers, screens and consoles” will be installed.

This technological event will start on Friday, October 11, at 5:00 p.m. and will take place on this first day until 11 p.m. On Saturday the activity will resume at 10.00 and will continue uninterruptedly until 08.00 on Sunday, day 13. In addition to the championships, there are scheduled talks on cybersecurity and videogame development.

The Councilor for Youth recalled that "it is not necessary to register for the use of video games, but to participate in the various championships planned", including FIFA 19, Fortnite, Apex Legends, Brawl Stars or Clash Royale.

Registration can be formalized in the Youth Information Center of Benidorm City Council. For more information you can go to these facilities, or contact the Department of Youth through its Facebook page, on the phone 965853041 or email youth@benidorm.org.

Pérez has encouraged “all the young people in Benidorm and the region to participate in this totally free event and enjoy three days of living and leisure”.
