With initiatives like this "projects are explored, attracted and analyzed that can then be made viable through the Employment and Innovation departments". The mayor has congratulated himself because “in Benidorm there are very good people” who will be able to materialize their projects of emerging companies or ‘startups’ thanks to the collaboration with initiatives such as Demium.
Throughout the weekend, entrepreneurs and young people, have lived in Benidorm in a 'hackathon', or meeting of programmers, where five innovative projects have been presented, all in line with the strategy of the Smart Tourist Destination : Take my luggage, slogans; Green Sail Trip, nautical tourism and ecology; Meetme, group travel application; and RNR, sustainable tourism.
After 48 hours of living in a constant brainstorm, the jury has awarded Wody, although the team of this company will join the members of those who have not obtained the award to continue generating ideas that will be linked to the development of tourism in Benidorm from the 'Coworking' Space, the business incubator of the Department of Employment and Local Development.
