The plenary session approves by majority three new expropriation agreements to execute the 'Vial Discotecas'

The municipal corporation of Benidorm has celebrated today its last ordinary plenary session of the 2015-2019 legislature, in which three new expropriation agreements for the acquisition of land for the future road that will connect the Valencian Community avenue with the roundabout have been approved by a majority. will give access to the industrial estate.

The Councilor for Town Planning, Lourdes Caselles, explained that "with the four estates included in these three agreements the City Council has acquired more than 90% of the necessary floor" in order to execute the so-called "Vial Discotecas", whose project "It's definitely approved." With regard to the remaining percentage, "the three owners have already been asked to submit their appreciation sheets for their estimation or rejection by the City Council."

Caselles recalled that this road is essential to meet the requirements of the Ministry of Development to develop Partial Plan 3/1 and start up the industrial estate and the shopping center projected in the area.

In the same session the result of the consultation made to the municipal staff on the Job Positions Assessment (VPT) agreed by the local government and approved in the General Negotiating Table by four of the five trade union centers represented in the City Hall. A consultation that endorsed the document with about 73% of the votes of municipal employees. At the request of the acting mayor, Toni Pérez, the corporation has voted for the proposal of the full account given by the acting Human Resources councilor, Jesús Carrobles, who has obtained broad support from the members of the corporation.

After this last ordinary session, the plenary session will again meet extraordinarily before the change of corporation to approve the pending plenary minutes.
