The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, this morning has expresed his condolences on behalf of the Municipal Corporation, to the family of former Senator Miguel Barceló Pérez, who died today at his home in Benidorm. The news of his death coincided with the beginning of the informative commissions that are held every Monday and the condolences of the Corporation were incorporated into the minutes of the session, as well as that of the Governing Board that took place next.

The mayor wanted to express his condolences to such an "irreparable loss" and recalled the figure of Miguel Barceló Pérez underlining that "he had a history of dedication and dedication to public service that speaks for itself, with a special dedication to Benidorm, the city where he was born and he was a councilman, and also of service to Spain from his position as senator. " The mayor and members of the Benidorm Corporation will accompany the family on this day and tomorrow during the celebration of the funeral.
