Environment organizes with Ecovidrio workshops and environmental education games for children

Medio Ambiente organiza con Ecovidrio talleres y juegos de educación ambiental para los más pequeños

The Department of Environment and Ecovidrio have organized workshops and environmental education games aimed at children, in which "through activities and crafts children will be taught the importance of recycling glass containers," as indicated by the councillor of the area, Mónica Gómez. These workshops and games are framed within the actions scheduled for La Vuelta 2019 and will be held this Saturday and Sunday, August 24 and 25,  at Plaza SSMM Reyes de España from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

In addition, on Sunday, these actions will also take place in the morning, from 10 am to 2 pm, coinciding with the departure of the second stage of La Vuelta from Benidorm.

Children can enjoy the traditional game of the Goose, designed and adapted to contents related to the recycling of glass containers; and in the account workshop they can also create their own bracelet made of recycled glass. These recreational and awareness activities are totally free.

These workshops and games for the little ones will be complemented with an informative stand aimed at the general public in which the glass recycling chain will be exhibited with the aim of raising awareness and raising awareness among visitors and residents about the importance of reuse and its benefits.
