The calendar of meetings promoted by the Support Platform for the EDUSI Project (Integrated Sustainable Urban Development Strategy) continues with the 'Edusionate' campaign in Benidorm. Yesterday afternoon more than a hundred representatives of cultural, sports, youth and educational associations were meeting in the municipal building of El Torrejó where technicians of the company that prepares the project, Consultant's Guide, exposed their guidelines and requested the active participation of citizens. The meeting was also attended by the mayor, Toni Pérez, the Councilor for Citizen Participation, María Jesús Pinto and other members of the corporation.

On the other hand, this morning the members of the platform have installed an information tent next to the Social Center 'Llorca Linares', with the collaboration of neighborhood associations and neighborhood council. For three hours opinion polls have been collected with the ideas and concerns of the people concerned. In this regard, María Jesús Pinto said that all this material will be "treated" by technical staff of its Council and the consulting firm to "try to incorporate it into the EDUSI project."

Benidorm aims to receive around 10 million euros from European funds that are intended to improve the lives of residents and visitors. The 'Edusiónate' campaign is open to all groups in the city and meetings with local associations and the installation of information desks will continue in the next in the city.
