The prestigious pianist Iván Martín from Canary offered at 20.00 pm, the third concert of 'Grandes Recitales 2016', organized by the department of Culture in the City Hall with the collaboration of the Conservatory Municipal of Music 'José Pérez Barceló. Iván Martín delighted more than 200 people with a selection of pieces by Granados, Guinovart, Chopin and Debussy. Tomorrow, from 9:45 Iván Martín will offer, on the same stage, a master piano class to students of the Conservatory. There, young people can show their skills and improve their performance thanks to the contributions of the teacher. Iván Martín (Las Palmas, 1978), recognized as one of the most brilliant pianists of his generation inside and outside our borders. He works with almost all the orchestras of Spain as well as with the most important in the world: Paris, London Philharmonic, Berliner Konzerthausorquester, Strasburg Philharmonic Symphony 'Giuseppe Verdi' in Milan, Virtuosos Prague Symphony Monterrey and Santiago de Chile Symphony, among many others. The concert pianist has been invited to participate in numerous festivals and concert halls: New York International Keyboard Festival, Orford International Music Festival, International Festival La Roque d'Anthéron, Folle Journée International Festival, The International Festival of Great Pianists, International Cervantino Festival, Scherzo Young Performers, International Festival of Music and Dance of Granada, International Music Festival Perelada or Canary Islands Music Festival. Iván Martín was graduated with honors from the Harid Conservatory of Florida and received a Fulbright award to study at The Juilliard Scholl. As a teacher he gives master classes worldwide. He has made numerous recordings and has a busy schedule of concerts around the world.
