Cabrillo has called for "all the people of Benidorm and surroundings to come to the Palau Raúl Mesa and encourage the athletes". He also announces that "this tournament will be the prelude to the Senior Promotion phase of the Super League 2 and calls for the support of the entire city to achieve the promotion."
For his part, Raúl Mesa highlights that "this tournament serves as a link with the end of the winter season and the start of the beach season." "A strategic date that aims, in coming years, to continue using these facilities," says Mesa, who also stressed that from the technical point of view "will have almost 100 participants from all parts of Spain." In addition, Mesa has announced that his competition partner will be Javier Bosma, an Olympic medalist already retired but who is a symbol of this sport.
