Benidorm Lions Club celebrates its first half century of life.

From this noon, a large banner on the main balcony of Benidorm City Hall, announces the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Lions Club Benidorm, a branch of the Lions Club International, founded in 1917.

The acting mayor, José Ramón González de Zárate; the Councilor for Social Welfare, Ángela Llorca; and councilors of all municipal groups, together with the president of the entity, Pilar Ribagorda, have displayed the banner announcing the celebration of the 'Great Act' next Saturday, January 25, at 6:00 p.m. in the Assembly Hall of the Town hall. That day, the lions of Benidorm will confirm their twinning with the clubs of Valencia and Malaga and will start their activities at Leo Aurum Benidorm Club, in which young people between 18 and 23 years old will participate.
