Benidorm, home of the women's volleyball autonomic final

19 April 2018
Benidorm, sede de la final autonómica de voleibol infantil femenino

This weekend will be played in the Sports Pavilion 'Raul Mesa' of the Sports City 'Guillermo Amor' the final child women's volleyball in which participates Beni4u Rental House Benidorm. This has been announced this morning by the Councilor for Sports, Arturo Cabrillo, who presented the event accompanied by the coordinator of Playas de Benidorm Volleyball Club, Ramón González.

The final has been organized by Benidorm club and has the support of Benidorm City Council, the Generalitat and the Volleyball Federation of the Valencian Community. Arturo Cabrillo also confirmed the participation of Elche Salesianos, GoldCar Sant Joan and Lledó School l'Illa de Castellón. Those of Benidorm will face at 12.30 on Saturday at Lledó Sholl l'Illa and at 20.00 at Goldcar. On Sunday they will face Elche Salesians at 12.00 noon

Arturo Cabrillo used the occasion to congratulate "the five members of Playas de Benidorm Volleyball Club who brilliantly participated and took the podium" with the Valencian teams Child and Cadet in the Spanish Championship held recently in Valladolid and encouraged "all volleyball fans who come these days to witness large-level matches with the best children's autonomic players.

For his part, Ramón González thanked the support received by the City Council that gave the facilities of Raúl Mesa and the federation for entrusting the organization of the event. "Playas de Benidorm Club -said- is a regional benchmark and very experienced". About the possibilities of girls, González believes that "we have many options," he recalled that the entry "is totally free" and that girls, between 12 and 13 years, "need the love of all citizens of Benidorm."

For the club coordinator, this year "we are having very good results at base level" and has influenced that the first two teams classified in the final "will have a place" in the Spanish Championship to be played in Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid) the second week of May, which would place the girls in "the national elite", like the players of the youth, who will participate next week in the Spanish championship to be played in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
