The theater returns to the Hermitage of Sanz in Benidorm with 'A palillo pal diente'

30 August 2017
El teatro vuelve a la Ermita de Sanz de Benidorm con ‘Un palillo pal diente’

In addition to the play there will be a country dinner and you will be able to see the Spain Italy football match in giant screen

The Councilor of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles, has presented the fourth edition of 'Theater in the Hermitage', along with Magdalena Pérez and Yago Alonso (of the Commission of the Ermita de Sanz), that will take place next Saturday, September 2, the play by José Cedena 'A palillo pal diente', at 9.30 pm. A theatrical intermission that gathers six very different characters with the objective of raising funds for the organization of the party.

Jesús Carrobles has encouraged all citizens to attend the performance. We are facing a "consolidated" event, he said, because the people from Benidorm are waiting for these evenings of 'Theater in the Hermitage' "to spend a different night" enjoying the combination of culture, party, fun and gastronomy. In addition, the councillor has congratulated the festeros for their initiative to place a giant screen to see the match of Spain against Italy, the first round of the World Cup qualifying, because if Spain wins "we will celebrate with laughs" and if not "we will laugh too because the play is magnificent".

Magdalena Pérez has been confident that the public will have a great time and stressed that it will be "bilingual, in Spanish and in Valencian". He has also let us glimpse the illusion of the whole Commission with the work done because "our motivation is that we spend a very pleasant time there all together".

For his part, Yago Alonso recalled that the Commission will open the doors from 20.45, coinciding with the football match. During the break the country dinner will be served, consisting of sandwich, soda or beer, and ice cream. After the match, the play will begin. Alonso considers that in this fourth edition "the acceptance has been magnificent", as it is deduced from the sale of tickets, which suggests that "expectations can be met." Tickets can be purchased in advance by contacting any member of the Commission for 10 euros (dinner included), or 12, the same day at ticket offices.
