The Assembly Hall of Benidorm City Hall has been the setting for the presentation of the book 'Visita de la imagen de la Virgen de los Desamparados', published by Comissió de Festes Majors Patronals of 2018, with the collaboration of the Department of Fiestas and the Parish of Sant Jaume and Santa Anna.

During the event, led by Nacho Taulet, the president of the Comissió of 2018, Paco Marín; and the mayor, Toni Pérez, delivered the first copy of the work to the parish priest of Sant Jaume and Santa Anna, Juan Antonio González, and then to the representatives of the Camareres de la Mare de Deu, Mariners de la Mare de Deu, Costalers of Sant Jaume, of 'La Barqueta' and the Seguidores de la Virgen de los Desamparados en Valencia, who excused their absence being represented by the councilman of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles.

Toni Pérez took the floor to thank "those who make the festivity possible" the edition of the book that commemorates the fact of having "the opportunity to make our parish church jubilee temple of the Sanvicentino year." "Thanks to having been hospitable," said the mayor, "with Sant Vicent Màrtir, the visit of the Mare de Deú dels Desamparats came as a gift." Some "incredible moments" taken by David Revenga, Kiko Francés's cameras and the Department of Press and Communication of Benidorm City Hall that appear in the work.

The event was attended by the Councilor for Culture, Ana Pellicer, and members of the municipal corporation Ángela Llorca and Inés Pérez; the queens of 2019 of the Festes Majors Patronals, Marina Carrillo and Paula Mayor; and the presidents of the Comissió and of the Association of Clubs 'Verge del Sofratge', Roberto Carretero and Coly Pérez, among numerous public.
