Naos Beltrán exhibits in Espai d’Art ‘Rasgos del Tiempo, Introspección’ until November 15

Naos Beltrán expone en el Espai d’Art ‘Rasgos del Tiempo, Introspección’ hasta el 15 de noviembre

The exhibition ‘Rasgos del Tiempo, Introspección’ by Naos Beltrán can be seen from today until November 15, in the Espai d’Art in the lobby of the Benidorm City Hall.

Naos Beltrán is an “emerging artist”, said the Councilor for Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez, to whom has predicted “a good future” in the art world. Beltrán, self-taught, has proven his worth in styles as diverse as "masonry, stained glass, sculpture and oil painting," said Pérez who also stressed that with this show the author allows us to perceive "the reality and sensitivity of people throughout their lives."

The artist, born in Petrer in 1982, and residing in Alfàs del Pi, has previously exhibited his creation in his place of adoption and in Vila-joiosa. After his stay in Benidorm, the exhibition will begin a journey to Italy, the United Kingdom and Poland. His exhibition is also being negotiated in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).

In ‘Rasgos del Tiempo, Introspección’, Naos Beltrán shows us faces aged by time in black and white. "Since I was little," said the artist, "my mother has been helping elderly people and that is something that has really gone with me." Regarding the bichromia exhibited by the sample, he pointed out that "black and white" is due to his own childhood "highlighted by the extremes." In fact, Beltrán confesses to having found “the emotional balance in the painting”, over time.

On the first day of the exhibition, the artist has made an explanatory tour of the works with Jaime Jesús Pérez, accompanied by councilors from the different groups of the corporation and the general public.
