The mayor claims to the tourist sector the high speed connection with the airport

15 December 2016
El alcalde reclama ante el sector turístico la conexión de alta velocidad con el aeropuerto

Pérez has participated in the traditional Christmas act of Hosbec

Announces that in 2017 the municipal contribution to the Fundación Visit Benidorm will be raised

The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, has claimed today again a high-speed line connecting the airport of Alicante-Elche with Benidorm. Pérez has moved this claim during the traditional Christmas ceremony of Hosbec Hotel Management, which was held at the Tourism Center (CdT) Domingo Devesa and attended by, among others, the regional secretary of Tourism, Francesc Colomer; the General Director of Tourism of the Generalitat, Raquel Huete; the president of the hoteliers, Toni Mayor; and the manager of Visit Benidorm Foundation, Leire Bilbao.

In front of the representatives of hotels and the tourism sector, he talked about the importance of this connection, even more considering the airport growth.

Pérez also referred to the urban scene, where the City Council is "picking up muscle" as evidenced by the numerous performances and works that have been developed last year and those that are going to be developed. In this regard, the mayor stressed that "everything we do has to be to improve the city, fundamentally so that the productive fabric feels more comfortable and can continue investing" in Benidorm.

Like the president of Hosbec, the mayor assured that "the promotion of Benidorm belongs to everyone", and the City Council will contribute in 2017 to the greater consolidation of Visit Benidorm Foundation "by providing it more resources "in the municipal budget, in" consonance with the business sector ".
