The oil painting is based on an official photo of the monarch

The portrait of the king Felipe VI donated by the artist José Albero to the city of Benidorm is already part of the municipal heritage. This oil painting by the artist of Beneixama, is based on a official photograph of the monarch and its dimensions are 100 by 81 centimeters. The artist and the mayor, Toni Pérez, signed the agreement and incorporation of the work to the municipal heritage in the presence of the councillor for Culture and Heritage, Ana Pellicer. After signing the agreement, the artist stamped his signature on the portrait, which will soon be exhibited in municipal offices so it can be admired by the citizens of Benidorm. Both the mayor and the head of Culture thanked Albero once again for "his generosity to the city", while reiterated their "personal appreciation and admiration for his work. "
