Benidorm publishes a new edition of the ‘Employment and training resource guide’...

Benidorm City Council has published a new updated edition of Benidorm's 'Resource Guide for Employment and Training', "an indispensable resource that collects the training offer of the city and its closest geographical environment, a directory of public and private resources, and detailed information to support job search, business creation and specific groups, such as people with functional diversity ”, as explained today by the Councilors for Employment and Local Development and Education, Mónica Gómez and Maite Moreno.

The guide, of which 700 copies have been edited, has been prepared by the technicians of both Councils and is co-financed by the Alicante Provincial Council, through a grant of 5,000 euros granted for this publication and for the support program and mentoring for entrepreneurs housed at l'Espai Coworking.

The councillor of Education has detailed that among the information contained in the 'Guide to resources for employment and training' is "the training offer of Benidorm and the region, both with regard to regulated training -universities, Training Cycles of Vocational training, and public and private educational centers, as well as the specific one oriented to employment ”. The existing resources to access this training are also included "such as scholarships, grants or educational exchange programs."

Regarding the job search, the head of the department has specified that the guide, "offers specific information on guidance resources and access routes to the labor market." In addition, it incorporates “detailed information for the creation of companies, including the different aids available to entrepreneurs; as well as information on training and employment for specific groups ”.

This guide will be distributed among Secondary Education Institutes, business or sectoral associations -for the disabled, women, students, among others-, and will be available to users in the Department of Social Welfare, Youth and Education and in the Town Halls of other localities. It will also be sent to unions and other institutions related to training and employment, to public entities, to bodies that request it directly from the Employment and Local Promotion Agency itself, as well as to participants in their own programs, both training and access to employment ”.

In addition, the municipal website www.benidorm.org will be available shortly 'online' in the Employment and Local Development section.
