Benidorm Music Jazz starts with fusion sounds and audience success

14 April 2018
El Benidorm Music Jazz arranca con sonidos fusión y gran éxito de público

Benidorm Music Jazz started last night with the proposed merger of Nes and with great public success. The Assembly Hall of the City Hall was filled to hear the songs of the new album of the trio, 'Ahlam', recorded in Germany and in which jazz merges with Arabic music and the French song in the voice of Nesrine Belmokh, who was accompanied on stage by Matthieu Saglio and David Gadea.

The Councilor for Culture, Ana Pellicer, stressed that "the good reception of this first session of the cycle shows that Benidorm Music Jazz is already a consolidated and expected appointment within the cultural program of the city, and it is also for a heterogeneous audience , of different age profiles, but with a common denominator: interest in music ".

The next date for Benidorm Music Jazz is next Friday, April 20, at Plaça del Castell, with the performance of The Swing Notes at 8:00 p.m. Pellicer recalled that "this year we wanted to take the cycle to the street, making it easier for the public to enjoy jazz in emblematic spaces of our city; a formula that last year we put into practice in the closing concert of the cycle at Plaza de La Senyoria and people liked it a lot. "

New sound system

In addition to launching Benidorm Music Jazz last night Nes' performance also served to release the new sound system of the Assembly Hall, fulfilling a motion to the Municipal Group Citizens, has improved the acoustics of this space. This new system has a digital table with 16 channels, speakers, subwoofers, amplifiers and sound processor.

The Councilor for Culture recalled that in addition to improving the acoustics "we wanted to adapt the Assembly Hall for people with hearing disabilities, with a system called 'loop or magnetic induction loop' that will start working next week, and more specifically on Saturday, the 21st, on the occasion of the music and poetry show 'Versonautas' ".
