Benidorm Tourism Foundation is present at the Tourism Fair Vakantiebeurs de Utrecht (Holland) considered the most important tourism fair in the Netherlands and which takes place from 9 to 13 January at the fairground "Royal Dutch Jaarbeurs".
For the sixth consecutive year, Benidorm has its own counter within Turespaña space, in the Valencian Community.
It is a fair of "mixed" character, aimed exclusively at professionals the first two days (Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 January) and open to the public the rest of days, until Sunday. In this edition, 1,071 exhibitors are expected to attend the fair, among which the 465 participants representing tourist destinations (among which Spanish representatives will be present), 465 tour operators and 361 tourist accommodation brands.
Among the novelties announced for 2019 stands out the Congress specializing in trips in which Visit Benidorm was present and which took place on Tuesday, January 8; the dedication of a day only for professionals, the introduction of thematic days and the celebration of cooking and photography workshops.
Benidorm attends this fair with the intention of publicizing its wide range of sports and complementary offer to the Dutch public and also plans to meet tour operators, bloggers and journalists in order to plan possible actions for 2019.
