Benidorm Film Office meets the audiovisual sector to publicize the draft of the new ordinance

Benidorm Film Office has held this morning a meeting with the professional local audiovisual sector in order to establish contact between the local administration and various companies and industry professionals to work with the common aim of promoting the city through their work.

For this service, Benidorm Film Office wanted to introduce the draft of a new municipal ordinance for this type of activity, which the City Hall will launch. This is a document in which they are working and which regulates and covers all aspects characterizing a recording or photo shoot in public space.

So far the bylaws do not contemplate anything but a fee for carrying out this activity and with this new ordinance, the consistory intends to operate as in other cities where exploit this activity to promote the city.

The meeting also served to report the activities of BFO, and how it has been increasing the number of filming and photography in the city since its revival three years ago. The meeting also made known the needs that professionally has an advertising production, as most jobs of this kind that are recorded in Benidorm.
