Benidorm extends the deadline for collecting municipal taxes managed by Suma

18 February 2021
Benidorm amplia el termini de cobrament de tributs municipals gestionats per Suma...

The councilor for the Treasury, Aida García Mayor, has confirmed this morning that "the deadlines for the voluntary payment of municipal taxes managed by Suma have been extended.

The councilor stressed that this measure, in a voluntary period, is adopted "taking into account the reality the population is living as a result of the health situation generated by Covid-19 and as a measure to support their economies" .

The measure has been adopted within the Governing Council of Suma Gestión Tributaria, at the proposal of the municipalities and is proposed, said García Mayor, "based on the evolution forecasts and the health and economic situation".

The measure adopted contemplates extending the term of 1st Volunteer period, charge without surcharge, until June 14, which entails a similar projection of extension in the 2nd Volunteer period, which is extended until November 5.

Specifically, from March 25 to June 14 -1st Volunteer- the deadline is established for the payment of the Tax on Mechanical Traction Vehicles (IVTM) and the Garbage Rate.

From August 2 to November 5, the taxes on economic activities (IAE) and real estate (IBI) will be charged, as well as fords.

Meanwhile, highlighted the councilor García Mayor "this government team of Benidorm City Council will continue to manage and seek direct aid to support the local social and productive fabric under the premise of not leaving anyone behind."
