Más de 800 personas acompañarán este viernes a los Reyes Magos en la gran Cabalgata que recorrerá el centro de Benidorm

Benidorm has everything ready to receive this Friday, January 5, the Three Wi, who will arrive in the city loaded with gifts to distribute among the youngest and who will tour the streets of the center in a great Parade in which more of 800 people will participate.

The mayor, Toni Pérez, and the councilman of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles, have received this morning the emissaries of the Magi, who have gone a few days before to Benidorm to finalize the preparations for the parade and to inform their Majesties of how the Real Camp is that for the first time has been installed at the Christmas square.

This year, King Melchor has chosen the hotel entrepreneur Jordi Caballé as emissary; while the president of AVIBE, Juanjo Pérez Parker, is the King Gaspar. King Baltasar is the former president of Rotary Club of Benidorm, the pharmacist Jaime Carbonell.

The mayor has informed that the parade will begin at 6:00 pm from Elche Park, and has indicated that the emissaries of the Magi have told him that they will arrive "full of hope for the people in Benidorm and especially for the children of this city. " It is planned that the Magi arrive at the Christmas Square around 8:00 p.m.

Pérez has acknowledged "the magnificent work of the Department of Fiestas that has everything ready, and that comes to celebrate a great Christmas holidays that are the prelude to the most anticipated day: the arrival of their Majesties."

The councilman of Fiestas has pointed out that, as in previous years, the parade will be structured in two parts: a playful and a traditional one. The first "is dedicated to the little ones with characters such as The Beauty and The Beast, Las Tortujas Ninja, Disney Princesses and some more surprises". The second part, will have as central axis the story 'The history of the Three Wise Men of the East', edited by the City Council in 2015 and from which "5,000 copies will be distributed" during the tour. This will have more traditional elements such as the Christmas Star, the Annunciation or the shepherds.

Carrobles pointed out that the parade is organized by around a hundred people and that it is being worked on since the summer, "which shows the affection with which we are preparing it".
