Local and National Police Officers participate in training sessions with judges and prosecutors

Officers of Local Police of Benidorm and of the Corps and State Security participate since today in a training session with judges and prosecutors, in which over three days are going to address, among others, issues relating to crimes of hate, disobedience or gender violence. The mayor, Toni Perez, has been commissioned to open these days, which are held in the Assembly Hall of the City Council and are organized by the Department of Public Security led by Lorenzo Martínez and the Deanship of Benidorm.

The councilor of the area attended the opening ceremony; the superintendent of the National Police Corps, Alfredo Garrido; and the colonel of the Civil Guard in Benidorm, Manuel Muñoz; the judge of the Courts of Benidorm, José Ricardo García; as well as representatives of various groups of the corporation.

The mayor has stressed "the importance and relevance of the permanent training of all those involved in prosecuting crime", as well as "the coordination" with which the State Security Forces and Corps are already working in Benidorm. Pérez stressed that all the speakers participating in these conferences are "first class", and he has wished all the participants that they are "fruitful".

After the opening, the days have followed with a conference on 'Crimes and behaviors of hate', in charge of the public prosecutor Jorge Fernández-Picazo. Subsequently it was the turn of the prosecutor Miguel Espesa, who spoke of 'Crimes light: certain types of action', by the also fiscal, Miguel Espeja.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 13, the magistrates Juan José Casasempere and José Francisco Bernal will lead the presentations 'Gender and Domestic Violence' and 'Recordings on public roads, police action and the right to privacy', respectively. On Thursday 14, Judge Ana Isabel García-Galbis will speak on 'Crimes of attack, resistance and disobedience' and the magistrate, José Ricardo García, will speak on the 'Jurisprudential news on crimes in cassation remedies for house interest'.

These days will be closed on Wednesday by the judge of Benidorm, José Ricardo García, and by the councilman of Citizen Security, Lorenzo Martínez.
