Benidorm has been a speaker at the latest edition of the prestigious "ENTER" tourism conferences, which are being held in Rome and celebrating this year's 20th anniversary.
The ENTER conference is an annual event of the IFITT Community (International Federation for Information Technologies and Travel & Tourism) which began in the 90s in Innsbruck, Austria, and in its long history has already toured cities as important as Edinburgh, Istanbul, Barcelona, Montreal, Amsterdam and Bilbao among many others.
Benidorm thanks to its commitment and implementation of the latest technologies to improve the experience in the Mediterranean city, has been selected to participate in this prestigious forum, and share their experience, specifically in everything related to Virtual Reality (VR), Social Networks, and New App as pokemon Go, Benidorm App integrated with technology Beacons and repositioning of the destination for the sectors like Millennials and Generation Z (Gen'Z).
In this forum, Benidorm has been accompanied by world-class speakers such as MSC Cruises' chief technology officer, Expedia Switzerland director, University of Virginia (USA) technology department director, as well as first-rate academics and universities such as the Metropolitan University of Manchester (UK), the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong or the Mid University of Sweden, among many researchers from prestigious universities and companies.
A real luxury that Benidorm has its space, and cannot only tell how it is working and applying technology in tourism if not as from its beginnings Benidorm became the tourist capital and consequently one of the main actors of the industry number 1 in Spain, tourism, from the implantation of the bikini, through its vertical and visionary model, to virtual reality, by which any care of the world, can explore its streets, attractions and landscapes.
With this participation in ENTER Rome 17, Benidorm puts the finishing touch (for the moment) a few months very active in conferences of first order; it was first in the event of the most important digital marketing in the world, DTTT ( Digital Travel Tourism Tank), held in Brussels on 1 and 2 December, then participating in the prestigious Fitur Tech Round Table, to end the month at ENTER conferences.
